Nada Surf
Hailing from New York, where they formed in 1992, Nada Surf is made up of
Matthew Caws (vocals, guitar) Daniel Lorca (bass) Ira Elliot (drums). Mastering
power pop in the post-grunge, Britpop era, Nada Surf made a name for themselves
in 1996 with their debut album High/Low and a sarcastic, infectious single,
"Popular", which immediately reached No. 51 on the Billboard Hot 100 and No. 10
