The Brazilian singer Naiara Azevedo was born in the city of Farol in 1989 where
she grew up until relocating to Umuarama when she was 16 to continue her college
studies. Her musical career began almost by accident and started out when she
recorded the track 'Poor', which was a tongue-in- cheek response to the popular
Brazilian song 'Sou Fouda' by Carlos & Jader. Azevedo's track was a feminist's
