French pop-rock band from Rennes, Niagara was formed in 1982 around the duo of
Daniel Chenevez (keyboards) and Muriel Moreno (vocals), complemented by
guitarist José Tamarin. Tamarin left the group in 1986 (he died in 2019 at the
age of 68), shortly before the release of a debut album, Encore un Dernier
Baiser, featuring Niagara's first hits, "Tchiki Boum " (on which Étienne Daho
provides backing vocals), "Je dois m'en aller " and "L'amour à la plage". Two
years later, it was the turn of Quel Enfer! to enrich Niagara's discography,
this time with hits such as "J'ai tout essayé", ...
