Nils Frahm
Nils Frahm – born in Hamburg, Germany on September 20, 1982 - is a musician,
composer, and producer who garnered international attention with his innovative
approach to the piano. He released the solo albums Wintermusik and The Bells in
2009 and collaborated with cellist Anne Müller on 7fingers in 2010. His
breakthrough came with his solo release Felt in 2011, on which he created what
has become his signature sound by placing felt on the hammers of a piano. He
also works with vintage electronic equipment including drum machines and
