Born in Vietnam in 2001, Théo Marclay was adopted at the age of five by a Swiss
couple and grew up in Fully, in the canton of Valais. After studying piano at
the conservatory for ten years from the age of seven, he went on to study
musicology at the University of Fribourg and composed his first pieces. They
first appeared under the name Nuit Incolore during the Covid-19 pandemic. Their
