The Chilean reality TV contestant Paloma Mami was born Paloma Rocío Astorga
Castle in 1999 in Manhattan, New York. She studied music and art whilst being
schooled in the US prior to moving to Chile when she was 16.
Castle entered the Chilean reality show 'Rojo, The Colour of the Talent' whilst
simultaneously releasing an independent single titled 'Not Steady'. After
