German wizard of minimalist electro, Hendrik Weber aka Pantha du Prince made his
debut on the Dial label with the double album Diamond Daze in 2004. His strange
style, at the crossroads of ambient minimalism and 1980s Detroit techno,
surprises and delights on subsequent albums This Bliss in 2007, then Black Noise
in 2010. In 2013, Elements of Light saw the composer team up with Norwegian
collective The Bell Laboratory, specializing in percussion bells. Over the
