Born on July 16, 1976 on the island of La Réunion, Patricia Philippe began her
musical career as a singer with several local groups. In 1999, she joined the
group Ziskakan, formed by Carpanin Marimoutou, Gilbert Pounia and Mishko M'Ba
and known for its first albums Ziskakan (1981) and Pei Bato Fou (1983). This
experience shaped the singer, who spent six years honing her musical technique
and familiarizing herself with the big stages (such as the Casino de Paris). In
