Pimpinela is a Latin pop brother-and-sister duo from Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Composed of siblings Joaquín and Lucía Galán, the group is known for its
romantic songs and theatrical live performances. They released their studio
debut, Las Últimas Golondrinas, shortly after forming in 1981. Their next album,
1982's Pimpinela, went on to become a smashing success in Argentina and Latin
America thanks to the popularity of the Number 1 single "Olvídame y Pega la
