Psirico
Psirico (which means 'Psycho' in Portuguese) is a Brazilian band that
specialises in the traditional country-folk style of pagode music that was
showcased by Tiao Carreiro and Lourival dos Santos in the late 1950s. Founded in
the early 2000s by percussionist and singer Márcio Victor as a jam group rather
than a fully formed band to take part in the local Salvador, Bahia Festa Junina
festivities.
In 2014 Psirico released their first album, live recording 'The Bahia Hurricane
