Puissance Nord
Formed in the year that Olympique de Marseille won the famous "cup with the big
ears", Puissance Nord's album Carte Blanche hit the charts in the year that OM
were champions once again after an eighteen-year drought. From 1993 to 2010,
Puissance Nord kept up the pace, performing on stage and releasing independent
albums, becoming one of the jewels in Marseille's rap crown. Avertissement in
2003 was already snapped up by insiders, before the dazzling consecration of
Carte Blanche in 2010.
