Rey Vaqueiro is the stage name of Brazilian forró singer David Linhares Pereira
de Sousa, born on October 13, 1999, in São Paulo, Brazil. Growing up in a humble
background in the outskirts of São Paulo, Rey discovered his talent for singing
and songwriting without any formal musical influences. Building connections with
local musicians, he began performing at small venues and quickly advanced to
