Rival Sons
The American hard rock band Rival Sons was formed by drummer Mike Miley,
vocalist Jay Buchanan, and guitarist Scott Holiday in Long Beach, California.
Launched in 2009, the band released an independently-funded debut album titled
Before the Fire later that year 200o and earned invitations to tour with bands
such as AC/DC, Alice Cooper and Kid Rock. Significantly, Rival Sons were also
invited to perform at the Indy 500 motor sport event, resulting in national TV
