Born in County Meath, Ireland, on January 20, 1953, Robin McAuley began his long
musical journey with Grand Prix, replacing Bernie Shaw in 1981. After two
albums, he joined the GMT supergroup in 1984, alongside Chris Glen and Philthy
Animal Taylor, then Far Corporation, with Bobby Kimball, for the album Division
One (1985), before rejoining the band in 1994 for the follow-up Solitude.
