is a Dominican merengue singer. He was born on March 8, 1956, in Bajos de Haina,
Dominican Republic. Initially dreaming of a career in baseball, a life-altering
car accident redirected his path towards music. Rubby Pérez honed his craft at
the National Conservatory of Santo Domingo, eventually joining school groups
