Hailing from the English city of Wolverhampton, multi-faceted electronic
producer Sam Andrew Gumbley (born 4 August 1992) – known professionally as S-X –
began laying the groundwork for his successful production career in the mid-'00s
with his "Woo Riddim" instrumental, which he created when he was just 15. The
tune was picked up as an instrumental by the grime community after it was used
by trailblazing East London MC D Double E for his 2010 track "Bad 2 Tha Bone."
