Son of singer and actor Mario Da Vinci, Salvatore Michael Sorrentino aka Sal Da
Vinci was born on April 7, 1969 in New York, during his father's American tour,
accompanied by his wife. He was immersed in the music scene from childhood,
performing a series of duets with his father from 1976 until 1983, before going
solo under the same stage name. He also began a career in film as an actor, then
as a composer. In 1982, he released his first solo album, a collection of
