Salebarbes
Salebarbes, a traditional Acadian music group, was formed in 2019 by Éloi
Painchaud, Jonathan Painchaud, Kevin McIntyre, George Belliveau and
Jean-François Breau. The five men were driven by a single ambition: to preserve
the heritage of traditional Acadian and Cajun songs. This ambition, combined
with a taste for the blues, quickly won them an increasingly enthusiastic
following, and helped them carve out a place for themselves on the
French-speaking cultural scene in Quebec and Acadia. Their first album, Live au
