An all-female rock band from Osaka, Japan, Scandal was formed in 2006 by high
school students Haruna Ono, Mami Sasazaki, Tomomi Ogawa, and Rina Suzuki. After
releasing indie singles like "Space Ranger," "Koi Moyō," and "Kagerō" in 2008,
the group signed with Epic Records Japan and released its major-label debut
album, Best Scandal, in 2009. The album hit Number 5 on the Oricon Albums Chart
and featured four Top 40 hits: "Doll," "Sakura Goodbye," "Shōjo S," and
