Sendung mit der Maus. His signature song “Schnappi, das kleine Krokodil,” sung
by Joy Gruttmann, went viral in 2004 and was later released as a single in early
2005, reaching the top of the charts in Germany, Austria, Belgium, the
Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, and Switzerland. It was later translated into
