Seo Taiji is the stage name of South Korean musician Jeong Hyeon-Cheol, who
helped pioneer the K-pop industry with his band Seo Taiji and Boys during the
1990s before launching a successful solo career. He was born in Seoul on
February 21, 1972, and began playing heavy metal music as a teenager before
forming Seo Taiji and Boys in 1992. The band enjoyed immense popularity during
