Servando and Florentino, two of four siblings born to the late
singer-songwriter, musician, and political activist Alí Primera (1941-1985),
have etched a remarkable path in Latin American music. Starting their journey
with the Venezuelan salsa group Salserín, they achieved early fame, leading to
their eventual departure from the band in 1997. This pivotal year also saw their
alliance with Ricardo Montaner's label, Hecho a Mano, yielding their first
albums, Los Primera (1997) and Muchacho solitario (1999), and a series of
