Born on 2 January 1990 in Mumbai, India, Bollywood playback singer Shalmali
Kholgade began performing at the age of 16 and stepped out in Bollywood with her
debut 2012 track "Pareshaan" for Hindi-language romantic action movie
Ishaqzaade, for which she won a Filmfare award. She is also a vocalist with
Mikey McCleary's jazz-fronted act The Bartender and featured in their second
album, B Seventy. She scored a hit in 2013 with "Lat Lag Gayee" from the movie
Race 2 and received her second Filmfare Award for Best Female Playback Singer
