Born on October 27, 1982 in Ahmedabad, Gujurat, Shruti Pathak is a Filmfare
Award-nominated Indian playback singer and lyricist working predominantly in the
Hindi music industry. She began her singing career in the early '00s, making
herself known on the "Leke Pehla Pehla Pyaar" song for the Baby Doll series in
2004, and was the lyricist and singer behind 2009's "Payaliya" for the Indian
Hindi-language black comedy Dev.D, also going on to write "Shubhaaramabh" for
