Jorge Siddhartha González Ibarra (August 25, 1985), or simply Siddharta, is a
Mexican singer-songwriter from Guadalajara. He is mostly known for being the
former drummer of Mexican indie rock band Zoé, which he left after recording the
album Memo Rex Commander y el Corazón Atómico de la Vía Láctea in 2006. Why
You?, his studio debut, came out in 2008 and quickly positioned Siddharta as one
of the most promising artists in the Mexican indie rock scene. It also received
