Sliimy
Sliimy is a heralded pop phenomenon in France. Not French pop, because the
gifted 20-year-old only sings in English. His Mika-like vocal timbre, like his
physical appearance, and his version of Britney Spears' "Womanizer " have
generated over 300,000 hits on his MySpace page. Signed by Warner Music, he was
presented to great fanfare at Midem in January 2009. His first proper single,
"Wake Up ", was released on February 8, 2009, while the album was scheduled for
April 6.
