Born on 21 September 1992 in Setúbal to an Angolan father and Portuguese mother,
João Batista Coelho is known professionally as Slow J; a Portuguese rapper,
producer, and singer-songwriter who has been active on the hip-hop tuga scene
since 2013. He released his debut album The Free Food Tape in 2015 and the
follow-up, The Art of Slowing Down, in 2017, which drew from a range of
