Michael Amott switches from Carcass death metal to stoner with the formation of
Spirituals Beggars in 1994. The band gradually moved towards a cross between
Black Sabbath, Deep Purple, Thin Lizzy and Uli Jon Roth-era Scorpions. Spiritual
Beggars debuted with an eponymous album in 1994, releasing records as Micahel
Amott became available. Despite two changes of singer, Spiritual Beggars kept
