Named Stéphane by her parents in honor of actress Stéphane Audran, Swiss singer
Stéphane Van Loon was born in Geneva on September 14, 1996. After dropping out
of medical school, she enrolled at the École des musiques actuelles and learned
several instruments, including the guitar. She chose her first name as her stage
name, and in 2021 signed her first song, "Douleur, je fuis", soon followed by
the EP Stéphane (2022), which also included "Green Dream", a hit on social
