Gilles Duarte, better known by his stage name Stomy Bugsy, was born in Paris on May 21, 1972. Of French-Cape Verdean origin, he is both a rapper and an actor. Gilles Duarte grew up in Sarcelles, where he developed a friendship with Passi, with whom he founded Ministère A.M.E.R., whose album 95200 was a big hit. In 1996, Stomy Bugsy embarked on a solo career, marked by the release of the album Le Calibre Qu'Il Te Faut, which sold almost 300,000 copies.
