The Jungle Giants
The Jungle Giants formed in 2011 in Brisbane, Australia, where frontman Sam
Hales, lead guitarist Cesira Aitken, bassist Andrew Dooris, and drummer Keelan
Bijker had all graduated high school two years prior. Inspired by indie-rock,
pop, and contemporary dance music, the group released a self-titled EP in July
2011. A follow-up EP, She's A Riot, climbed to Number 14 on the Australian
Hitseekers Chart one year later, with the title track being named one of 2012's
