Formed in Tempe, a collegiate suburb of Phoenix, Arizona, rock band The Maine
have been polishing their pop-punk-inflected brand of indie rock since 2007.
Originally composed of lead singer John O'Callaghan, guitarists Alex Ross and
Ryan Osterman, bassist Garrett Nickelsen, and drummer Patrick Kirch, the group
released their debut EP, Stay Up, Get Down, in 2007. Later that year, Ross and
Osterman were replaced by Kennedy Brock and Jared Monaco, and the band debuted
the five-track extended play The Way We Talk, their first release for Fearless
