The Midnight

The synthwave duo The Midnight was formed in Los Angeles in 2012 by singer-songwriter Tyler Lyle and Danish-born producer Tim McEwan. The pair met during a co-writing workshop in North Hollywood and quickly bonded over their love of 80s synth-based music. They made their debut in 2014 with the singles "WeMoveForward" and "Gloria," both included in their first EP Days of Thunder.
