The Used
The Used's blend of screamo, pop-punk, and post-hardcore turned the Utah-based
group into platinum-certified hitmakers during the 2000s. Fronted by vocalist
Bert McCracken and formed in Orem, Utah, the band held its first practice in
2000 and released its debut single, "The Taste of Ink," in 2002. The song
reached number 19 on the Billboard Alternative Airplay chart, the first of five
consecutive tracks to reach the Top 40 during the band's infancy. The band's
