Third Eye Blind
San Franciscan rock band Third Eye Blind was originally constructed around the
talented songwriting duo of guitar vocalist Stephen Jenkins and lead guitarist
Kevin Cadogan. The band had a successful debut album when they released 'Third
Eye Blind' in 1997, spawning five hit singles and selling six million copies in
the USA alone to become certified six times platinum in the process.
Within a couple of years the relationship between Jenkins and Cadogan had begun
to sour and Cadogan was unceremoniously fired from the band after a gig at the
