Real name Ruben Louis, born in Saint-Denis (Seine-Saint-Denis) on July 10, 1997,
French rapper Timal grew up in Seine-et-Marne. He took his pseudonym from his
Guadeloupean origins, and began to make a name for himself with videos posted on
video-sharing sites. The "Rapport" freestyle series inaugurated in 2016 runs for
three episodes, and continues each year with the release of a new number.
Between 2016 and 2019 follows another series of eleven tracks, from "La 1" to
