Time Bandits
Dutch new wave group Time Bandits was conceived by Alides Hidding along with
members Marco Ligtenberg (keyboards), Guus Strijbosch (bass) and Dave van den
Dries (drums), in Amsterdam in 1981. The group enjoyed chart success all over
the world, breaking onto the American dance charts with hits "Live It Up" (1981)
which peaked at Number 1, and "I'm Only Shooting Love" (1985), which peaked at
Number 2. Their debut self-titled album of 1982 spawned the hit singles "I'm
