contemporary gospel charts. Born in Maywood, Illinois, on December 20, 1983, he
distinguished himself in sports during his studies, playing for the New York
Mets professional team, before turning to music in 2005. He began under the
tutelage of Smokie Norful, with whom he toured for the first time, before
establishing himself as an independent artist with the album Pulling Me Through.
