Trampled by Turtles
One of the most popular progressive and contemporary bluegrass bands, Trampled
by Turtles was founded in 2003 in Duluth, Minnesota. Around singer and guitarist
Dave Simonett have been present from the outset Erik Berry (mandolin), Dave
Carroll (banjo) and Tim Saxhaug (bass), joined in 2007 by Ryan Young (fiddle)
and in 2014 by Eamonn McLain (cello). What began as Simonett's side project
became his priority, infusing bluegrass with his folk and Americana influences,
