Formed in 1974 in Andalusia, Spain, Triana is a rock outfit that pioneered the genre flamenco rock (AKA Andalusian rock), which blended progressive rock and flamenco. Initially a trio, Triana was composed of members Jesús de la Rosa Luque (vocals/keyboards), Eduardo Rodríguez Rodway (guitar), and drummer Juan José Palacios (AKA Tele). The band released their untitled debut album in 1975, although the album is often referred to as El Patio.
