Friends from primary school in South London, Olly Knights and Gale Paridjanian
decided to form a band together in the late 1990s, developing a melodic style
that found them compared to the likes of Travis and Coldplay. Knights was at
film school when he started collaborating with Paridjanian on musical ideas
which eventually resulted in their debut release, the EP The Door in 1999. They
followed it with another EP, The State Of Things, before spreading their wings
to encompass a full band line-up, winning over audiences at various festivals
and tours with the likes of Doves, Lowg...
