Interestingly describing her sound as "musical mashed potatoes", VV Brown - also
a model - rocketed to fame in 2009 when the press widely touted her as the
female sound of 2009 with Little Boots and Lady GaGa, after a series of high
profile shows - including Glastonbury Festival and the Teenage Cancer Trust
