Vanusa Santos Flores, known simply as Vanusa, was a Brazilian singer-songwriter
and actress whose career spanned several decades, beginning in the late 1960s.
Born on September 22, 1947, in Cruzeiro, Brazil, she showed an early talent for
music, performing with the band Golden Lions at just 16. Her break came in 1966
when she gained national attention on the popular Jovem Guarda TV show, later
signing with RCA Victor and scoring her first hit with "Pra Nunca Mais Chorar."
