Vico C (birth name Luis Armando Lozada Cruz) is an American rapper, songwriter, and producer. He was born on September 8, 1971, in Brooklyn, NY. Vico C moved to Puerto Rico at a very early age. In 1988, he recorded his first song “No a Las Drogas” along with DJ Negro. This artistic collaboration led to the release of several other songs which established the duo in the underground rap scene. 1989 saw the release of Vico C’s debut EP La Recta Final.
