Originally from Guadeloupe, WeRe-VaNa, whose real name is Evariste-Pierre
Geoffroy, comes from a family of gwoka musicians. As a child, he attended
numerous concerts and saw his passion for music grow over the years. WeRe-VaNa
adds its reggaeton and dancehall influences to gwoka, a musical genre that is
widespread in Guadeloupe. With his early compositions resonating locally, the
young artist decided to persevere and record a namesake debut album with
