Southern rock and country band Whiskey Myers formed in Palestine, Texas in 2007.
Originally comprised of lead vocalist and guitarist Cody Cannon, guitarists John
Jeffers and Cody Tate, bassist Gary Brown (replaced by Jamey Gleaves in 2017),
and drummer Jeff Hogg, the group released their debut album, Road of Life, in
2008. The group began to build up a following, and word of mouth began to spread
before the release of their second album, Firewater, in 2011. The album was
