Yamê, whose real name is Emmanuel Sow, is a French-Cameroonian rapper and singer
born on April 19, 1993 in Cergy-Pontoise. He spent part of his childhood in
Douala, Cameroon, where he took up the piano, influenced by his father, the
famous musician M'Backé Ngoup'Emanty. Following the tragic death of his mother,
he returned to France with his family and settled in Paris. In parallel with his
higher education, which enabled him to obtain a master's degree in information
and data research, Yamê developed a musical style blending rap, vocals and
influences from his Cameroonian roots....
