Zeds Dead, named for a snippet of dialogue in the film Pulp Fiction, are an
electronic music duo formed in Toronto, Canada in 2009 by Dylan Mamid and
Zachary Rapp-Rovan aka DC and Hooks. They use synthesisers for a mix of styles
including house, hip-hop, garage and dubstep. They first gained attention with
remixes on the Internet and by hosting a weekly show called Bassmentality in
Toronto that saw performances by Borgore, Nero, Came & Krooked, and Skrillex.
