Founded in 1992 by childhood friends Sammy Amara and Andreas Brügge when they
were just twelve years old in their hometown of Düsseldorf, the German punk-rock
band Broilers developed a masterful command of various rock and roll sounds.
Drawing inspiration from seminal British punks like The Clash and Sex Pistols,
they eventually added guitarist Peter Gossen and bass player Ines Maybaum. That
line up created the group’s debut EP, 1996’s Give Me a Flower. Their debut LP,
