La Oreja de Van Gogh

La Oreja de Van Gogh are a Spanish pop band that grew out of a group called Los Sin Nombre, formed in the Basque Country in the mid 1990s by keyboard player Xabi San Martín, guitarist Pablo Benegas, bassist Álvaro Fuentes and drummer Haritz Garde who then recruited singer Amaia Montero. Victory in a local music contest led to their first EP and in 1998 their debut album, 'Dile al Sol'.
